The BuyWell mission is to ensure a fair and livable wage for coffee growers worldwide and to support sustainable agriculture by providing customers with extraordinary Fair Trade Organic coffee.

Overview
BuyWell was founded with a big dream: to combat poverty and to protect the environment through coffee. With over 25 million coffee-growing families living on less than $2 a day, BuyWell founders recognized the need for a more equitable coffee business model. To achieve this goal, BuyWell sources, roasts, packages, and distributes only 100% Fair Trade and Organic certified coffees.

We’re passionate Fair Trade Organic artisan roasters. We’re cup-carrying members of the Specialty Coffee Association and the Fair Trade Federation. Our business practices are approved for people and planet by Co-op America. We celebrate world Fair Trade Day 365 days a year. We love the sunflowers that spring up behind our roastery and fresh espresso on a frosty morning.

Making Coffee a Sustainable Pleasure
Organic. Shade-grown. Renewable energy. We know that our choices have a global impact. In addition to our unwavering commitment to Organic coffee, our roasting facility itself is certified Organic by OCIA. We buy only Swiss Water Processed decafs that use no harmful chemicals. We love shade-grown coffee and buy it whenever possible to protect natural habitat. In addition to native rain forest species, coffee growing regions support numerous North American birds in winter. We manufacture using 100% certified renewable energy credits through Green-e and are working on purchasing renewable wind power-produced energy directly from our local utilities provider. We're always looking for ways to make our approach to coffee more sustainable.
